RIP Jean 'Toots' Thielemans (94)

Post by wim »

Toots died this morning, at the age of 94.
As a former Rickenbacker endorser, maybe not associated with that anymore, still an important link in RIC history and a great musician.

Thanks Wim. So very sorry to hear this. I know he is in playing a Rickenbacker in Heaven.

Very sad news. He had agreat life for the music. As a harp player his name for me was more connected with this instrument than a Rick player. A fine tone and a good taste and feeling one of the "giants" has left us. Rest in peace, Toots!

Thanks john. This is such a magnificent performance. The little instrument with the big footprint. Very moving.
