Melissa: Suzi has a guitar in this clipping. Is it the one you people are interested in?

Carole: What a great clipping! Thanks for this extra bit of history. I too would love to know the year.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Very cool, Carole.
This has got to be the newest Suzi Arden 360/12 picture on the web. God I love this place!

Hey Melissa, the "RIC Chicks" lineup has just been updated thanks to Carole.

Very interesting that the guitar is sporting the "R" tailpiece by the time the photo was taken....

These are the most recent shots courtesy of the present owner Oyama Katsuyuki. Pictures shot Nov 8, 1998 for Björn Eriksson´s Rickenbacker Page.©1999 Björn Eriksson

Note that RIC installed the high octave strings above the fundamentals. Opposite to what's being executed today.

A cool thread, really.
I've learned so much today from chatting and researching on Suzi's guitar here.

I wonder how Ms Arden feels about having a place in guitar and Rickenbacker history?

Melissa: I'm sure the clipping was prior to 1970.

You seem to be enjoying this stuff. If I am stepping out of line, please let me know. Here's another band picture. I knew I was keeping this stuff for some reason.
