Pugwash

Brilliant song with a 1997 front and center. Co-written by Andy Partridge. Feels like a great lost XTC single.

Abbey Road studios. Arrangements by none other than XTC's Dave Gregory.

That was thoroughly enjoyable for me, thank you. I love querky groups and inspired songsmithing.
Because I told you before- oh, you can't do that.

I have a weird confession to make...i had to stop that last video because the music actually has moved me to tears. It's too beautiful...I don't know who Dave Gregory or XTC are- but I'm left in some kind of wrecked state...really- I apologize for being so weird...but some music can move me and I don't know why.

I guess I'll have to go to my local record store now and invest in Pugwash.

Robert, I understand completely, and I hope you see your way clear to research Mr. Gregory and XTC. Dave is in the video, long dark hair and gray shirt. I don't know that you'll find Pugwash in your local record store just yet. they're out of Dublin and will be making the foray into US music in Sept. with their new compilation "Giddy".

For XTC songs that have moved me beyond words, try:
Wake Up
Wonderland
Summer's Cauldron
Wrapped in Grey

I'll stop there but could go on all night.....

Hi guys.

Thank you for the kind words on my music above.xx
I just wanted to say that my Ric is from "April 1967". I bought it for $200 in 1991 and it's my pride and joy!!
I've played it on everything, it's beautiful. Funilly enough during the filming of the 'At the sea' video (above)
my drummer Johnny pushed his mini-stand up kit over at the end and his cymbal gouged into the neck of my
Ric just at the headstock.....!! You have to put things like that down as a pop-war wound!!

Wow Thomas, I'm really loving that sound. I'm straight onto Ape to get some of that - what should I start with?

I know you didn't ask me but "Eleven Modern Antiquities" a stunning disc. It gets regular playtime with me.

Oh yeah, welcome Thomas.
