Ya know he used to play an Epi Riviera or Casino 12er way back when. It's not too much of a stretch for him to use a 12 string.

I'm sure I've seen him with a FG 330 as well that looked to be of '60s vintage.

I've never seen Elvis with a Ric before.
I've always associated him with his (now signature) jazzmaster.

Very cool - I'd forgotten all about that one. Great find.

A headstock out the window would snag a few city cyclists these days. :D

I think Rickenbackers really suit Elvis' sound & image, I'm surprised he didn't use them more often

It does look strange in his hands. I would've thought he played a Rickenbacker, especially on The angels want to wear my red shoes. Now that I play a Jazzmaster, I realize how jangly it is though. My thin skin '59 jazzmaster chimes nearly as much as a Rickenbacker.
