Some others:

Look Through Any Window - The Hollies
She's Fine - The Stems
Beauty and Sadness - The Smithereens
Born on The Bayou - Creedence

My favourite Smiths example would be What Difference Does it Make (BBC version)

Due to the prominence of the bass, I'll nominate these three:

Tool - Sober (really, the whole record -- check out Flood!)

Spacehog - In the Meantime (pretty cool line over the verses)

Toadies - Possum Kingdom (again, the whole record is splattered with neat Rickentones, my favorite is Backslider)

Thanks again everyone.
Jeff: I was able to hear Rare blend only once I used a VPN with a US address, took me a while to connect the dots, quite cool actually :)

Does anyone know if Entwistle used his 4005 in Tommy?

Based on literature and sources, he used a Precision during the sessions for Tommy. As far as I can hear listening to it I tend to confirm that.
He however appeared embracing the 4005 in most of the TV shows and other events during the period following the release of the album.
A source identifies The Seeker as basically the only Who song where the 4005 is used. Definitely I can hear the 4005 tone in it

I am glad that you figured out a way to hear the Rare Blend "videos". I don't get this restriction that youtube places on distribution, very un "social media"-like for such a major force in it.

I'm pretty sure My Generation is a Danelectro Longhorn bass.
Trick of the Light from Who Are You is the Ric 8 string though.
