It's a two'fer combining with Jimmy and the Fireballs' tribute to Buddy Holly, Buddy's Buddy. The Fireballs were a Norman Petty act. Gilmer remembered looking through a window into the studio floor while Buddy was pounding out some Little Richard on the piano. Bottle of Wine made them a lot of touring cash playing frat houses throughout the country.
