Do I Need to Replace This Nut?
The title is fairly explinatory, I don't have anything else to say about this other than, should I replace it? I'm getting some buzz on the low E and A strings, and the bridge height is right where it should be, so is the height at the 12th fret.

Re: Do I Need to Replace This Nut?
Open-string buzz? Replacement might not be necessary -- the nut can be shimmed on the bottom and/or the offending slots can be filled and recut.

Re: Do I Need to Replace This Nut?
Use the plastic shavings and superglue (I like the gel type) fix. Recommended by longtime guitar repair guru Dan Erlewine. I employed this fix on the nut of one of my guitars a few days ago and it worked like a charm!

that is 480? could it be a bit of back bow on bass side of the fretboard? if not proceed with refill and re-cut fret slots right after masking surrounding area.
