McGuinn Circuit

Post by 8mileshigh »

Does anyone know what the wires connect to on the McGuinn circuit board? The three pick ups wire into the right hand bank, the left are outputs but I don't know what coloured wires go to what output? And any idea what the single white wire on the far right is for? Go techys..........sorry for the small pic!

Refer to the schematic.

Connector J1 is the left connector, J2 on the right. Pin numbering is left to right. You'll have to trace out the jack connections unless someone gives you the color codes.

The single pin at the far right goes to the bridge ground.

Thanks Mr Hall. I'm adapting a circuit to use as an outboard unit.

Graham, I'll see if I can get a picture or two of the wiring in my 370/12RM MG in the next day or so and if so, I'll post it/them.

I sent Graham a set of extreme closeups of a wired set of RM jacks. He should be able to go from there.

There's a fad here somewhere. Biscuit tins, anyone?

Graham: This is certainly a fool proof way to sustain my interest.
