Rickenbacker Repair Question

Post by GIn_Y »

I was wondering who should I get in touch with to get my 75 4001 Ric repaired. I've been trying to get a hold of Dale Fortune, but no luck for the last two years. :?

There are two great repair guys on this forum, Paul W. (jingle_jangle http://studiocalifornia.rickbeat.com/) and Larry Davis (dgwguitars http://davisguitarworks.com/site/index.php). Either of them can handle pretty much anything you have...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Does Larry do his refins/refrets like Paul does? ie: Factory spec/Conversion varnish etc?

Actually, we use different varnish clearcoats.
