660/6 bridge saddles

Post by parisdobermans »

Just got a 660/6 and the low E bridge saddle groove is cut way off center. Plays and intones well. Just curious if this is standard procedure for wider neck at nut or perhaps grooved off center to allow for 12 string groove if needed on 660/12. Any thoughts? :o

No need to worry. The groove is simply cut where it needs to be, for proper string spacing. It's part of the setup that will vary from guitar to guitar.
