4003 Pickups

Post by GIBrat51 »

Apologies if this is the wrong place for the question, but - are the bridge and neck pickups in a new 4003 identical? Or, as I have been told, does the bridge pickup have a "larger magnet"? Just curious. I've looked at the ones in my 4001 and 4003, and can't really see any difference.

The pickups are different. The bridge pickup magnet is much larger.

Yep, what Dane said. The bridge pickup sports a much bigger manget.

Thank you both. Will add that to my "Rick Book O' Knowledge".
