Finish Question 4003S

Post by rick360man »

I recently bought a nice new FG 4003S. I noticed on the lower aspect on the body that there are some scattered areas on the edges that are not perfectly smooth. They don't feel smooth and in fact in the right light one can see a slight bubbled/corrugated appearance (for lack of a better description) in those areas. Is there any compound that I apply to smoothen it? It has the feeling like those areas may have escaped some sanding at some point in the process, perhaps, although I know how great the RIC finishing process is, of perhaps just a rough feeling/lack of smooth clear coat in those areas???

Thanks for your help!
