lightshow 'lens' specs

Can anyone offer insight into the thickness and material (plexiglass?) used over the Rowlux illusion film on Lightshow guitars and basses?

3mm clear acrylic plastic sheet. Same stuff used to make the vintage style truss rod covers.

Plexiglas and Perspex are two brand names of similar stuff, but any plastics supply store should be able to provide 3mm thick clear stock.

You're very welcome, glad to help.

If you need to order online, I suggest TAP plastics. In addition to the clear acrylic, they sell a Rowlux-type material in multiple colors. Plus I have ordered fret marker material, inlay dot material and binding ABS all from TAP. One stop shop... https://www.tapplastics.com/
