Talk about too much time on their hands... guess it beats rioting.

The Kimmel interview will give you nightmares.

That is one strange exercise vid! [shudder]

The ping pong game looks like one of mine - only the volley lasts one or two hits! Image

OK, so did I break some unwritten rule?

This thread was started as "Welcoming submissions of YouTube stuff that is amazing for whatever reason..."

*I* thought the human pretzels displayed in the video linked to by my posting qualified as 'amazing' - especially as an homage to potato salad. Stick with the video until about the 1:15 mark... tell me you've never wanted to sit on your own head.

Dave, I thought it was kinda disturbing for the fact of how they could contort and the muscle control. Talk about rubber spines! I thought I had made a post on this already but it isn't here or was removed. It would have been on the 17th.

Early use of "groovy" in that "potato salad" tune, too. Sounds like it came from the mid- to late-1940s. If my Dad were alive, he could probably tell us who they were, who's orchestra was playing, when it was filmed, and what movie it came from.

Odd...I noticed the shortening of this thread, too. Don't know why; maybe it went somewhere unsavory after that weird video?

I never saw a response after my original post. It certainly wasn't my intent to divert the thread, hence my inquiry last night.

Paul B., according to the notes on YouTube, it was from the 1944 MGM musical Broadway Rhythm.
