I went over to Joey's place to have my trussrods fixed on my '68.
They put up quite the fight getting out of the neck channels, but we prevailed!
Here's a vid of Joey putting one of the trussrods back into the neck.
I've always been leery of attempting this repair by myself on such an old bass, so I was quite fortunate to have Joey around!
