Does anyone know a good pilot? Maybe we could charter the whole plane ?
Graham & Dale, lock in some dates fellas. We can accommodate both of you being here at the same time. March would be great!

Hi Dale !!!
The best time for surf in Victoria is April through to November. Generally speaking offshore winds for the reefs and points with good swell although good smaller days on the beachbreaks are not uncommon. A sealed 3/2 wetsuit should be enough unless you come in the middle of winter .... 4/3 and booties are needed then. I have a spare 9'4" you are welcome to use.
To keep up with local surf conditions have a look at http://www.swellnet.com.au/loc_report.php?state_id=3
We are on the Mornington Peninsula : the breaks there and in Western Port Bay are roughly a 30 minute drive from my place.
You can get more information on local breaks at http://www.wannasurf.com/spot/Australia_Pacific/Australia/VIC/Melbourne_East/index.html
Look forward to seeing you Dale !!!!
If you have any questions just ask.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have others.
Darren I think I found us a pilot....
It just took a little time to locate him he was hanging out at the bar at Embassy Suites with Denny

May you always work like you don't need money;
May you always love like you've never been hurt;
and may you always dance like there's nobody watching.
