I too will be planning a trip to the land down under next year...Maybe we could arrive or meet at the same time. Any of you that need major guitar work done, better send it soon so I can bring it to you next year....It will be just me coming and I'll need your help in picking the best time to be there. .Oh Steve, did you want to post pictures of your Bass restoration on the Forum as work is completed?
Dale...yes. Please send the full size photos to me and I'll post them. That would lessen the burden on you I'm sure. I would also like them for myself for my own personal enjoyment. Thanks
Are you going down under next year? 2010 is the confluence date that was planned I thought.

Seems like Dale wants to jump the gun and get in two years early!
If you're looking to hit the surf, Dale, I'd suggest January through to mid April if you're coming down south. Up north (Queensland, Northern New South Wales), give January and Ferbruary a miss - very humid and some nasty stingers in the water.
Otherwise November and December would be good months to come no matter what part of Oz you're visiting. I'm hoping Shane McAlpine might chime in here...... he's our resident surf guru!
Obviously Darren, myself and the rest of the Melbourne crew will make sure you're looked after down here. You won't have any problems re: accommodation..... plenty of room at my home and I'm sure others will offer as well.
That's an awesome fortune cookie, Tammy and Steve! The last one I opened read: "Don't eat me.... you'll die!"
