Melbourne Aussie Confluence Sunday Dec 9

Post by rick_ovic »

A heads up for those not on the mailing list.....

This Sunday 9 December will see Aussie forum members getting together at Nighthawk Blues Club, located on the corner of Balcombe Rd and Nepean Highway at Mentone. Our special guests will be Brian Medway from Canada and Steve Donald, drummer for The King Bees. Start time is 2.00pm.

Please note that this is a closed door function, meaning you won't just be able to wander in off the street. This is primarily for security reasons. We'd be thrilled to have other Forum members join us, but please let us know that you're coming beforehand. Drop me a line at the address in my profile or call me on 0412 905859 to be added to the list of attendees.

Stay tuned to this thread for photos, and quite possibly through the wonders of modern technology, we'll even have a YouTube clip or two after the event!

Thanks a lot fella's for the gentle ribbing. "Dane and Shane". Sounds a bit like the Bobbsie twins.

I am sure that the real Shane will show up and cut loose on that beautiful 330 and show us all how to rip out a solo or two.

I am looking forward to it gents. I promise to be as good as I can be (not much of a promise really) and I'll try to keep yer names straight.

Let me Howard is "Aitch", Darren is "Trotty", Greg is "Gregga", Ron is "Viney", Shane is Dane.....should I continue?

I'll be seeing you soon boys and girls.
