Non-Ricks at RIO!!!

Post by jps »

I know that a lot of us have more than just Rickenbackers in our collections and vaults, so I want to have an area during RIO!!! where we can bring and display our prized non-Ricks. Please let me know what you have that you would like us to drool over; this being a Rick related show I ask that these instruments be only those that are/were made in America (USA) just like Rickenbackers are.

I have something I recently got that will be making an appearance, for those who like to drool over acoustic guitars! :D

I had a Jazzmaster at MARF, but will most likely be all-Rickenbacker this time around. :)

Jeff, if you don't mind, I request that it be open to anything. Not only because my Wal was made in England but because I see no reason to exclude anything. Will only "Americans" be allowed to attend next? No I say....rise up immigrants! (sorry, I got carried away a bit there).

Anyway......it could be a good source for those that primarily play/collect Rics to see what else works for fellow Ric players no matter what the make or nationality. Just my opinion.....

Good point Brian. Okay, all nationalities are in. :D Can't exclude that lovely Wal of yours, for sure.

Well, I don't want to change your "vision" just because my Wal isn't of US of A heritage......but even if you disagreed I was bringing it anyway!

It's a parts bass. I bought off of Ebay from this guy. http://www.hembryguitars.com/TBass.htm

I seriously think it needs two Toasters though.
Bring some cash as it may be for sale.....
