Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
3 or 4 basses and two guitars.
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
Wow Jeff.. have you counted the expected instruments.. and it is still almost 4 months away. Looks like this was a grand idea. Are you planning Saturday and part of Sunday? I was a little confused if it was 10-6 on both days or just a Satuday confluence? It is looking to be a great weekend.
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
I haven't even heard of several folks who are planning on going and the count is around 95 instruments! What I like is that there are new faces that will be coming. To me, it is the gathering of all of us to have a good time that is most important. I still have not heard from Peter! Peter??? You have to come to one of these!
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
I'm going to try to come. If I do, I'll bring my 4001 and my Jazz.
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
That would be great, Robert! There are others coming in from Wisconsin so you won't be the only one from the White North.
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
Looks like I found a ride to the event, and it looks like I'll be there!!!! I plan on bring my 2 4003S basses, one Jetglo, and the other one in the process of being refinished by Paul W. I look forward to finally meeting you Jeff (and of course, everybody else!).

Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
If I can make it, I'll have 3 guitars in tow.
Re: RIO!!! - INSTRUMENT COUNT
Great, we need more guitars! Hope you can make it, we have a few coming down from Wisconsin.

A busier-than-usual tax season may keep me home, but... if I can make it, I think I may drive up, stop and see Moms in Tennessee, and thus could bring about a dozen pieces. But it's JUST A MAYBE so don't get your drawers in a bunch just yet!
I've been itching to get the Prius out on the highway again anyway.
vroom, vroom! (well, like that, but much quieter)

+1! If it means bring fewer instruments, or none at all, having you at RIO!!! would be worth it!sloop_john_b wrote:Nonsense, you are coming.jdogric12aolcom wrote:A busier-than-usual tax season may keep me home, but... if I can make it, I think I may drive up, stop and see Moms in Tennessee, and thus could bring about a dozen pieces.
