Yesterday started out more sedately, with a late breakfast at the Beaumaris Beach cafe.

We dined at a local Italian restaurant last night and Graham kindly picked up the bill! Here's Graham demonstrating the Pascoe Wine Sniff, with my daughter giving Graham the respect he rightfully deserves:-

The evening then descended into this......

Bottle of white Sambucca = $45
Dinner at an Italian restaurant = $160
Watching Graham and Robyn slurping down shots and making drunken overseas phone calls = PRICELESS!!

Just got a call from Trotty about to leave for the airport. Unfortuantely my son has stuffed up my evening so I can't get out there to say goodbye to Graham in person but at least I was able to on the phone.

What a fabulous time it's been! So many great times and so many, many laughs!!

Thanks to Dave and Graham for coming over...... it means a lot to us to be able to host international visitors and show them a bit of Australia and enjoy the cameraderie.

Thanks in particular to Brett and Glen in Sydney for showing us all a good time - it was a pleasure to meet you both. At least now I know where to go in Sydney for some decent clams!!

Looking forward to many more visits from our friends around the globe - either in March 2010 or before.

Oh.... and thanks again to Peter for providing this forum. None of this could have happened without this wonderful place's existence!

I'd go along with all of that Aitch!!!

Well........it's nearly all over. Just sitting at the airport in Melbourne. A massive thanks to Darren & Robyn (and the kids!!) and Aitch for being such gracious hosts over the last 3 weeks. They made me feel as if their homes were my home. I got to see all the sights, with the added bonus of seeing the "real" Melbourne from a local's point of view.

It was also a great pleasure to meet Greg, Shane, Ron as well as Glen and Brett in Sydney. Oh and even Pascoe : )

Cheers to one and all who made my stay such a real pleasure and not forgetting Peter, who made all this happen in the first place, putting us like minded people together!!

Until the next time guys...................

Hey Graham, it was indeed a great pleasure to meet you also!
To have the opportunity to play with fellow guitarists(and bassists) from all over the world, is truly one of the magical benefits of this forum! Thanks Peter!
Again, it must be said that it never ceases to amaze me just how willing both Darren Trott and Howard Bishop are to continually open up their homes to our visiting forumites! They are to be congratulated!
I'm sure that by the time 2010 arrives, beds will be available at my place for visitors!! ( My boys will be a tad more controllable by then!)
Safe flight home, Graham, enjoy the memories!!

This trip just keeps on giving.

I got to see today first hand Lisa's new corporate screen savers. Currently enjoy by Lisa and 30 of her coworkers. She hopes to install it at her satellite office next week.
