RIO!!! - JAM NIGHT!

Okay, we are all set for a venue for the jammin'!!! Slam Jams Sports Bar in Solon, Ohio, just a few short miles from the Residence Inn, is looking forward to having us all there to party it up. I am starting to get the ball rolling with Sam Ash to see if they would be a sponsor (them being the RIC dealer in the area) and provide some backline, or at least a PA. We can be there all evening as they close at 2:30 am. There are various video games and LOTS of pool tables, even a separate room with regulation size tables for our use. I just got some menus from them plus they can cater if we need. Their beer supplier will make up banners to welcome us; maybe we can get one with the official Rickenbacker logo on it would be cool.

So, how many of you are jammin' that night 6/21?

At this time I plan on being there. Will there be a drum kit? If so I'll see if I can get my drummer to show as he's pretty well versed in various covers, and pretty good at faking it if he doesn't know it. But I don't know if he'd be able to hold up for the whole night!

My covers band will be hosting so there is drums and a drummer, but Tom would certainly welcome the break from having to play all night! The more the merrier. We will also have keyboards.
