Hey gang. Just got home about an hour ago. Such a great time, it will take me some time to post about it all! In a nutshell, thanks to everyone who had a part in it, it was the trip of a lifetime, and I'll be in touch with you all very very soon, and of course reply to the posts here and the emails I haven't checked for several days now. I'll have a couple beers now and sleep and maybe sort out my pictures and stuff tomorrow. Cheers! JD

Jdog and I had a great time last night, first jamming with No Convictions, then sitting up till about 3:00 A.M. talking and drinking beer.

Finally some pics! Sorry, the lack of sleep finally caught up to me.

Here is me and Mark Gilbert with his wall-o-73's.

On my way out of Columbia, SC, I stopped by the Capitol and took a few pictures.

Here's a shot of the Lizard's Thicket I had breakfast at with John Williams. Great place!

Here's a pic I had to stop and shoot on the way from PA to MARF:

And then on to Maryland... now they don't live on this street, but how cool would that be?

And finally, me at the Cheeseburger in Paradise in California, MD with the Garners. Since we don't have one of these in Tampa, I get serious bragging rights at the office now for going to one in person for real.

I had an absolute blast with everyone I visited. Two weeks really flies by sometimes. I'll be in touch with you all very very soon. I have to cram a lot into this 3-day workweek, but then I get the standard 4-day holiday break and will probably catch up on all my thank you's etc then. Cheers, J

Glad you made it home safe and sound, JDog. Must have been a really great time. Hey, did you try the ice cream with chocolate and vanilla deep fried tortillas at CBIP?? Great dessert.

Great pictures Jason...having you visit was great fun for me and reaffirmed my wife's illusion that all my RIC friends are fine upstanding citizens.... You know you are welcome anytime...maybe the Mars simulator will be ready for you to rock the next time you're here.

THREAD REVIVAL ALERT

Some planets aligned in a very strange and wonderful way, leaving me with 18 personal days to use by 12/31/09. Guess what I'll be doing.... again! :) :) :)
