Re: RIO PICTURES
Just wanted to thank you all for posting - looks like a great time was had by all. Wish I could have been there (our anniversary weekend - 24th!). Anyhow thanks for the pictures!
Re: RIO PICTURES
Hope you had a great anniversary Tom... ours is this weekend, Saturday.. he has a cold and has to play...luckily RIO had perfect timing for us!
Re: RIO PICTURES
Sorry we missed you, Tom . There were quite a few forumites who had to bail (unlike Graham ) unfortunately.

I would love to there were lots of things we did not get to see.. but I always go when he has a gig.. I was named "band wife times 4" I was a little miffed at the thought at first, then I was told it was a complement..

Re: RIO PICTURES
Kevin and Ross were competing for the girl while John moderated over the proceedings.
Re: RIO PICTURES
The girl was taking our beer orders! She is the waitress. Kevin was buying the round. Thanks, buddy!

I just found this photo on my CF card and that seemed like a plausible (maybe) caption.johnallg wrote:The girl was taking our beer orders! She is the waitress. Kevin was buying the round. Thanks, buddy!
Re: RIO PICTURES
I am pretty sure that Jeff got it right.. she was all smiles.. and they were eager to pay for the round... good thing John was there to keep it from getting out of hand.(I never did get that lime....)
Re: RIO PICTURES
Thanks Tammy, the anniversary was great - we mostly just hangout with each other and just do fun date type things on the weekend - and dinner at a nice place on the actual anniversary. I hope 'My. Brown' feels better... and that you all can squeeze a little time for yourselves.
Some day I will make a MARF gathering... Actually had one here in my town a few months before I discovered the forum.... damn! Judging from the photos it looks like all had a really good time at this one... some nice looking instruments there too...
A good waitress/barmaid knows a well placed smile or laugh can increase the tip significantly....

Re: RIO PICTURES
As you can see by my bowed head, I am in awe at meeting the world famous Tammy. I am a shy person at heart (as most of the RIO bunch know) and find it hard to talk to people, especially women!!!
For those interested a 'Cuddy Wifter' is what we in the North East of England call a left handed person and not (as someone thought) someone who bats for the other team! .
