Definitely Joey!rickenbrother wrote:Maybe we can do chicken and waffles when you visit, Erik.
No, the friend I'm staying with is having a big birthday bash on Saturday. If he wasn't, I'd be there, but I don't want to be an ungrateful guest.kennyhowes wrote: ****! I didn't know that!

Then he'd miss his own birthday bash!jps wrote:You don't have to be ungrateful, invite him along!
What could be a better bash than MARF for one's birthday?rickenbrother wrote:Then he'd miss his own birthday bash!jps wrote:You don't have to be ungrateful, invite him along!
Speaking from a RIC enthusiast as my self and having the great experience of having my birthday at this past SoCal confluence (SCARF), surrounded by many great friends and guitars, there is nothing better.jps wrote:What could be a better bash than MARF for one's birthday?
Ouch. Sorry Dane. That's my fault; I organized the minicon, but I did it only here on the RRF; I didn't think of using the So Cal email list, and in fact, I didn't have my computer email contacts set up with a So Cal Rick Forumite list. I just finished setting up a contact list with all the so cal names on it after reading your email, so it shouldn't happen again. Sorry you missed out. I'd wondered why I hadn't heard back from you here on the RRF. We're shooting for another minicon right after NAMM. Trotty won't be there, but we're hoping that out of towners Graham and John Biscuti can make it.aceonbass wrote:I just caught this thread and would have been into coming and contributing to the room....and seeing the Trotmeister. In the future, any SoCal events that come up should also be forwarded to those on the SoCal e-mail list used for organization of the local Confluence. These days, with my internet access limited by the Barracuda web filters at work, I don't get the opportunity to be on all day like I used to.
