I know it's not much of a confluence etc....but is anybody else going to the Costa Mesa vintage guitar show tomorrow or sunday?
It's the Texas Amigos show, going on the same weekend as NAMM.
I'll be there tomorrow morning, a bit after opening..
Cheers,

That show has always been a waste of time and money.

The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS!

Yeah, some years I've certainly thought that, but I was surprised by last year's show- it seemed much better for some reason.
Anyways....somethin to do on a saturday, for those of us who can't get into the NAMM show (damn not being in the music biz!)

Well, I went and I thought it was pretty good! It was nice to see you there Collin, and by the way, I took your advice and did not trade the guy my Mapleglo 1997 for his Jetglo 660 12.
In my (humble) opinion, the show in Costa Mesa is generally pretty good. It's the one in Pomona that always seems to be a waste of time. I went to that one last summer and regretted it right away.
I've also been to the NAMM show but that's just not so much for me. I like the old stuff.

Yeah, it was nice seeing you Dan!
Cool show, IMO....past years have certainly been a waste of money- this year it was crazy crowded (at least saturday morning, when I was there).
Some Rics I noticed (as usual- not tons):
1997MG- Dan's
360CW JG- Dan's
pair of project Electro ES-17's
mid 90s JG 620/6
Modern JG370 VB
'67 345S (sorta like RM1998 with silver top knobs) in Jetglo refin with a neck heel repair, previously on ebay awhile
back,(which interested me, but it was way overpriced for the wreck it was).
late 70s Autumnglo 360/12 with toasters
'73 MG 4003 (I think...don't know too much about basses, honestly).
That's all I can remember, but I don' think there were many, if any more....surprisingly fewer Rics than past years..
I scored what I thought were a pair of transitional hi gains...but it turned out they were simply early 70's normal Hi Gains Now on ebay, as I have no use for em..
