Re: ORAC ’09 - Ontario Rickenbacker Appreciation Confluence
Steve/guys... Will do my best to get there early evening... Have somewhere I have to be with my kids for the afternoon but will definitely make it by after that for a couple of hours. Looking forward to meeting you all and taking a few "group" shots with my camera - both of the attendees and the Rics!

Just to let you know that I likely won't be there tomorrow. I am currently dealing with tendonitis in my right arch with the accompanying pain. I hope you guys have a great time and hope that I can join you next time with my 360JG

Re: ORAC ’09 - Ontario Rickenbacker Appreciation Confluence
I just arrived back in Montreal. Pics to come soon. Steve and Dave have very rare photos of two 4002s (ultra rare for Canada)
We had a great time. We were not too many, but we had fun ooing, awing, and jamming. I would like to thank Steve for getting this together, Anton "The Amazing" drummer, and very special thanks to Craig for hosting the event and supplying two areas with dream back lines. The jam room had a vintage 60s AC-30 and Marshall 1/2 stack as well as an AC-15HW for the 6 and 12 stringers, a Mark Bass stack for the 4 stringers, a real B3 and piano for the ivory fellas and a Gretsch kit for Anton. In the display area, we were auditioning guitars through a Marshall 1/2 stack, a fawn Anniversary AC-30 (stunning amplifier) and a Matchless, while the bass rig was an Aguilar.
More to come soon.

Good to be able to put a few more faces with names. I've only met Steve and Dean from Canada in person so far.
More pics please!

Sorry I didn't make it, some stuff came up.
It looks like you had a nice variety of guitars to play & I know that Anton is a human metronome.
Sounds like you guys had fun.
Craig's amp selection is stunning, huh?

Many thanks to everyone who came out and especially our host Craig Collett of Coll Audio. It was great meeting everyone - always nice putting faces to names. Sorry I had to duck out a bit early, but whatever bug I'm still battling started to rear its ugly head with a vengeance on Saturday, (hopefully no one else has been affected!).
Re: ORAC ’09 - Ontario Rickenbacker Appreciation Confluence
What a great day, even though I got there late... SORRY! Some additional pix of the basses since a lot of the guitars have already been covered...
Here's Steve & I and our twins - figures, not only did our basses look alike but we were kid of wearing the same things/colours... Yep, there was a laugh at our expense:
The 4002s on their stands - REALLY missed you and having the opportunity to put one of yours in this photo too Bryce:
And I just couldn't not take another one with my Wal in the photo:
Had an absolute blast jamming with Dean and Antone! Unfortunately, I don't know a single Beatles song so I didn't feel comfortable stepping in with the other guys that were jamming earlier... Thanks VERY much to Craig!!! His place is like a musician's dreamland, you wouldn't believe the gear that he has squirrelled away in there!!!

Hey Dave - thanks for making it out. It was great to see you again! Yeah, a 4002 triumvirate with Bryce would have been very cool! Maybe next time (plus we can all coordinate matching outfits).

And as our drummer Anton says, "it ain't a party without a shrimp-ring, mate!".
