I'll start looking for reasonable venues. I'm thinking a one day event, probably a Saturday with some kind of Friday function for those that travel in?

Ken -- do you have a tentative time frame for this? Even knowing the month would help.

Either location is fine, but like Paul the critical factor for me is timing.

I'm guessing August at this point - I think trying to get anything going before then would be difficult. Opinions?

I'm interested. I live in Park Ridge, in the shadow of runway 27L at O'Hare.

Hey!

Late to the party guy here!

I have no preference between Aurora, Gurnee, and Naperville.

I do have a preference for mid to late August though. Early Aug is booked up for me.

I'm still working on this around some medical issues in the household - I'll advise as soon as I know more.

Thanks!

I, too, am a bit late to this conversation, but am definitely interested in attending. Would be coming from Madison, but have no Chicagoland preference.

Bump -- any progress Ken? I don't want to see your vision of a Chicago gathering fade away.

Still working on it, slowly - I'm thinking it may have to be later, maybe in September. I haven't gotten many responses from hotels and I'm having surgery next week, which has been occupying a lot of my time.

Kenf: Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I would like to meet another Chicago suburban guy with a Rick 12. Let's make this confluence happen.
