Ken, I hope the operation was a success. Please let us know how things went.

Everything went OK, but I'm hurtin' for certain. I'll try to get back to planning next week.

Sorry, gang - the wife's been in the hospital, so I haven't had a chance to do anything about this.

Aren't there other Chicagoites in on this with you?

Sorry to be such a slacker. I've just got my hands full right now. I've been able to play my bass for less than 5 hours total over the last 2 months. :(

I took apart one of my Ricks to clean it up around 5 months ago. It's still in pieces.

:(

And that's just kinda how it goes in Chicago. Once January comes around I'll be sitting around watching Gilligan's Island and I Dream of Jeannie marathons for 4 months straight!

Yeah, I could probably help out with this, but I am just too busy to take over organizing it. Actually, I'm just hoping that it ends up scheduled for a weekend I'm in town.

If I can help from St. Louis I would be glad to lend a hand. I plan on coming to this if it doesn't conflict with my schedule. I am pretty wide open on weekends between now and November.

Well, if you plan it, it shouldn't conflict with your schedule!

I'm not quite sure how to take this comment...

Anyway, I may have found a decent venue. It's a subdivision clubhouse where another member lives on the far west side of St. Charles. It's inexpensive, too.

I contacted three hotels locally but each blew me off when they heard it was a guitar gathering.
