Melbourne assembly - June 20th

Post by ozover50 »

Melbourne members will be receiving an email shortly regarding a Melbourne gathering on June 20th. The principal agenda item will be planning for the 2010 confluence but Darren has offered to warm up the barbie at his recently renovated abode for the gathering and no doubt we'll be plugging in for a a bit, so bring a favourite and small amp for the event.

Darren hasn't indicated what we should bring apart from that but I think he'll be expecting the customary frankincence and myrrh, along with a few refreshments, of course!

Bottom line...... if by chance you don't receive an email, hopefully you'll read it here. Let Darren or myself know if you'll be attending.

Cheers!

I hope it's nothing too serious and that you'll mend quickly. Take it easy, mate!

Thanks for your kind wishes everyone. :D
I'm fine, it's a condition that has deteriated over the past month or so, whereby i have no feeling in 2 fingers, half of the left hand and down the side of my left arm. The Surgeon says there is a growth crushing the nerve in my elbow and a minor case of Carpal Tunnel in my left wrist.
I get admitted into hospital next Thursday to be operated on Friday morning. Hopefully i'll be out Saturday morning, just in time to get to Trotty's place. (Andrea says no way!)
In amongst all this, i get my new Epiphone Casino(Vintage Sunburst) the week after! Guess i'll just have to stare at it for a few weeks!!
Again, thanks all for thinking of me. :D

Jeez...I go away for a few days and look what happens when I'm gone! :(

Greg, I'm sorry I didn't see this thread a little earlier. All the very best to you for your hospital visit, mate. I hope your operation is uneventful and that you manage to get an attractive nurse to attend to your every need.

It would be great if you can make it on Saturday, however we'll all totally understand if you have to hang at home to recuperate.

Maybe you'll be well enough to come to a Who AU rehearsal on Thursday 25 June?
