Set #3, the last (and only two pictures)
The video I shot looked and sounded pretty good, too, but for the DVDs I will burn, I think that I'll cut out the parts where we sound like Guitar Center ...

Colin and Danotron and I met up at the Musician's Swap Meet thing in HB on Sunday; now THAT place had some Guitar Center moments.

Thanks to Gary for hosting, Rich for the pics, and all of you for a great time.
After seeing Gary's collection, I can see that I'm woefully "under-Ric'd". The next get-together will be a fundraiser for the "Get Skip Some More Rics Foundation".

I'd like to go to Gary's just to hang out!
Looks like you lot had some fun. Hey, Col, no windmilling on Gary's Townshend sig 1998? Tell us more about that '67 365 OS...

Another RAS attack ....
When you joined, didn't they tell you the RRF was a 12-step program for dealing with RAS and that Mini Con Jams are part of our group therapy for facing this addiction ?

I don't know, seems to me it's more like a 12 step program for promoting RAS... At least it has been for me...8mileshigher wrote:elreydlp wrote: After seeing Gary's collection, I can see that I'm woefully "under-Ric'd". Looks like it was a great time! I'm glad you guys are so far away from me, otherwise I'd have to go buy a bunch more Ricks...
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

IT WAS!ricmic wrote:Guys, it looks like it was a lot of fun. Mark
For me, the "Kodak moment" that I wish was on video was captured in Gary's post at the top of page 2 (pic#3-last two).
Joey was off-camera on Gary's 4002, Steve on the drums, me on guitar, and Collin (with sunglasses) on vocals and "attitude" doing Archie Bell and the Drells "Tighten-up".

Just to warn you of the effect this forum has on its members, Skip, I've tripled the number of Rickenbackers I own since joining the forum. . . and that's on a student's budget.
. . . I've also tripled the number of AC30s I own.

I don't even windmill on my '64, and that's the real deal.JakeK wrote:Hey, Col, no windmilling on Gary's Townshend sig 1998? Tell us more about that '67 365 OS...
The OS is actually a '68 model. Picked it up locally about a month ago---thass about it.

Drat and double drat. Even though Progknowsys rehearses sporadically, I think we've got a 100% record of practicing on the same days as GTG's.

We can try to work on changing that!s4001 wrote:Drat and double drat. Even though Progknowsys rehearses sporadically, I think we've got a 100% record of practicing on the same days as GTG's.

Don't go and get me fired from Progknowsys.
