Post by RickenTom »

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask...

But is there any Oklahoma Rick owners?

Besides me?

I got a feelin'.....a feelin' deep inside, oh yeah...that we're spread out pretty thin here in the Heartland. Is Kansas close enough? 8)

Cj - you sure have a knack for finding the Ricks with gorgeous flame! What's the story with that bass in the middle? It looks brand new. Is it a reissue of some kind? (I suppose I could go to the RIC site and look it up, but then where would the conversation be?)

Thanks, John. That's the first time I've seen a veneer top on a 4001/4003 bass. Looks amazing. I think the RIC outlet basses are the wave of the future for collectibles. Remember this one?

Here's another one I bought just because of the wood. Don't even know how to play it (but now that I have it, I'm learning) :

That's okay CJ. If nobody looks to the right at your location, they will think these beautiful Rics are in Oklahoma.
But just to be safe, just go ahead and change your location anyway. :D
