Checking the "Lineup" link, that is really astounding how many Tribute bands and entertainers they have planned for this event. 8) :D

Even a few Rics in some of the band pictures.

Also, it is very clever how many of these Tribute bands have "Beatlesque" photography with their publicity photos and posing styled after famous Beatle single or album covers, etc.

Well, if we aren't going to DC we will see another trib band "Shout!" at the park a block from our house, so it will still be a Beatles weekend. :)

If I'm not on travel, the wife and I should be there. Forumite Mike "PeeWee" Dutton (among his many other talents) will be playing there with his Beatles tribute band The Apple Core. Mike will be rocking with his '62 RI Hofner bass. If you have a Facebook account , do a search for The Apple Core band to check out pictures and some sound clips from past performances in the northern Virginia area.
"Keep smiling, keep your mouth shut, and nobody gets hurt!"
Don't bust Mike's chops...

They have the other one of these here in Louisville every year. It's during Memorial Day Weekend and it's a blast. They kick it off with a tribute rooftop concert downtown.
