Keep us updated on this - it is a very busy time of year for me (family wise) but I might be able to do it as a last min type thing. I'm just a couple of hours out of DC.

Heck yes, I'm a noob but id have to say so; that seems to be the concensus. Especially compared to nyc's subs.

Don't know much first hand about the NY subs but the DC Metro is pretty safe... everyonce in a while there are problems/issues - mostly seems to be around the parking garages. But all in all a pretty good ride.
