I'd like to, but doubt I'll be able to make the trip.

Well, I got a few...they're not very good 'cause I was just taking them quickly with my phone.
'59 Les Paul...there was a '60 at Rumbleseat that I got to strum for a bit.
'57 Mary Kaye Strat.

Wow Dan, how did I miss that '59?
Oh, and that Mary Kaye had the GREATEST v-neck ever!
I came home with this beauty (or "pregnant duck", as one Fender employee likened it):
Next up: Mastery Bridge.

The unbelievable '60, which pleasantly did not have what Gibson currently puts out as a "60's neck" - rather, it was quite full:

I believe it was an early '60 transitional model. This was before they switched to "tomato soup" red, before the neck got SG slim, before reflector knobs, etc.

Regarding the odd bridge baseplate, they apparently got confirmation that it was Paul Bigsby's handiwork.
