Looks like a great time was had by all! Sorry I couldn't make it, but family commitments and Monday morning work conspired against me. Next time for sure!

That and the presence of a '64 4001S perhaps had us all a little off center!

Sounds like you guys had a blast. It seems like there were 3 reissue basses (two 4001V63s and a CS with pickguard replaced), two modern basses (both 4003), three vintage basses (Ronbo's 1999, K-Teed's 21-fretter and JPS' 73 4001), one Ric guitar (JPS' '66 330) and one non-Ric guitar (modern Epi Casino). If I missed anything, tell me. Hope to meet you one day, Gil. Seems like you get along great with the Ohio guys

Close, Jake, but no cigar!
There were no modern 4003's (beside the 3 V63's), the CS isn't "official", though it's been played by the man himself, there is a 21 fretter, but it's not mine, there are 3 '60's basses

Exactly. I think we all had to pry it out of the other guy's hands to try it out. Great bass, Ronbo.

Oh I didn't forget, it was a conscious decision! I was having too much fun. :D

Great photos, especially, of the plane ride. 8)

'67 330, Jake. But, close enough to '66 given it is a March baby. 8)
