I'm just wondering why it is co-sponsered by a EUROPEAN car brand instead of an AMERICAN family run company not outsourcing the work ! I mean, it's not only the quality of the instruments making RIC something very unique, it's as much the philosophy behind it all !
..but it's a great offer anyhow, thanks John !
It makes little difference these days.

My last two BMWs were made in.....South Carolina....assembled by....Americans. :)

GM is federally-funded and Ford is still mostly broke. Not a whole lot of cash offered up for promotional events, I'd say.

Sounds like fun though.
+1

I would be a "maybe" but it all depends on the cost.
Put me in that column, too.

I wish I could attend but flying to the US 3 times in one year is a bit over the top, even for me

That would be soooo cool, but alas, my vacation funds are tied with the family and unfortunately they do not share the zeel I have for Rickenbacker guitars. What would be cool is to win a lottery of an all expenses paid trip for one lucky RRF member!
I know, I know, keep laughin', keep dreamin'.

I'd definitely call in sick that Friday and head to either SEA or PDX to fly to BUR, LAX, SNA, or LGB.

Unfortunately, due to foot-dragging by some parties involved in this event, as well as what appears to be a general lack of interest, we've given up on this project.
