I'm bringing my giant pedalboard, a Fender Mustang 1 amp for demoing guitars without being too loud and my Orange AD30 & 4x10 for when loud is a requirement. Bringing the modded FG 370 WB, the Red 350 with the midrange tone control, my Turquoise 330 & a Black 330. Maybe the lap. Gotta bullet mic too if we need one.

For the security of our gear, I've asked that the door from our extra room to the hallway be locked. This way the only access into the adjoining room is from the door of the showcase room. There will also be a window between the rooms. There should always be at least one of us in the extra room at all times.

It's the duty of everyone attending the event to be a vigilant observer of the gear.

To everyone bringing gear, have the serial numbers of your guitars and amps written on paper and have it with you.

I actually typed up all my Rick guitar serial numbers and manufacture dates into a Word Doc. . . . took me long enough.

You should have had them registered here in registry. Then you'd just have to copy & paste.

Well, this sucks...

I've been fighting a bad cold all week, hoping I would be okay by today. Unfortunately, I still feel like ****, so I will not be able to attend after all.

I've missed too many of these and I was really looking forward to it. I even changed my strings!

I hope you all have a great time! I hope to see you at the next SCARF.

Best,

David

Thanks to everyone who attended the jam. The change in venue turned out to be a very good thing after all.
The overall feeling from everyone was that this was the most successful and fun jam that we've had in a studio.

The "Holy Water" turned out to be a big hit too! 8)

I'll sort through pics tomorrow afternoon.
