Our friend Mark P. from Facebook with be in So Cal during the holidays. He asked if we would put together a jam during that time. Sorry for the short notice, but we weren't sure if and when we would actually have this jam since some diehard jam attendees will either be away for the holidays or have a conflicting schedule. For those who do not use Facebook here is the info.
On Saturday 12/28/13 from 1 PM to 6 PM, we will have a jam at:

Backline Rehearsal Studios
7251 Garden Grove Blvd.
Garden Grove, CA 92841

We will have the showcase room. The group might be smaller than usual, though there might be some newcomers. I hope we'll have enough drummers. I don't want Fito Man's (Rudy) arms falling off from playing the whole day. I need him for Victoria's Circuit!

As usual there's a sign-up sheet if you'd like to pick and/or add songs to perform on.

For the jam diehards who will miss this one, I'm sure we'll have a make up jam. We usually have one around the time of the NAMM show anyway.

Like our buddy Jake, I will "be there in spirit" but I've got some schedule difficulties happening during Christmas week.

It's one of my top favorites, too. I've heard three different versions/mixes of the album, the original 1967 stereo mix, '67 mono mix and '95 stereo remix, and the mono wins hands down, except Rael, which the best version is on the '95 remix.

I always liked how Pete recycled material from Rael into parts of Tommy.

That woman must be close to 6'5"

Due to the smaller group of people, the start time has been changed to 1 PM instead of noon. We will have the studio until 6 PM.

Any Ricken jam photos to post ? ?

I hope Rudy's arms didn't fall off. Were there any other drummers?
