Looks like a good time was had by all.

So, Rich, did you compare the two 650 models like you'd hoped?

Jake, regarding 650 Tone Pots testing ---- yes, Doug and I did an A/B comparison switching one guitar cord to his Fender amp back and forth with no change on the amp controls and tested Neck and Bridge pickups, individually and as a pair, on both the Colorado and the Atlantis. We tried them for chords, for solo notes in the lower range and scales and picking patterns on the higher frets. It was very clear that the 500k Tone pots Doug modded on his Colorado opened up a larger palette of tonal qualities, with all things else being equal. Yep, I think it'll be time to get out the old soldering iron and make this mod to my Atlantis .....

Great photos,Rich!
I can't tell ya'll how much i enjoyed being smack-dab in the middle of all those swirling chimey Rick guitars, (5 at several points!), even though i was just hoping for the best on playing the bass parts on those Byrds and Beatles tunes.

And i think the 500k pot switch really helped my 4004 basses,so I'm sure it would do the same for HB -equipped guitars, too.
