Update:

I received no reply to my emails to Gil, so I have no idea if he every received them, but on the bright side, the spam emails have stopped.

Analyzer

Generally you will find tons of hay with a possible needle buried deep somewhere. Often there will be a common email when comparing the individual analysis to one another (e.g. a bunch of nonsensical emails but bobsmith@yahoo.com keeps showing up). That common email is more than likely the original source of the problem. The hassle is that problem could have been a corruption from years ago so there would be nothing to "fix" now.
