The short scale basses were cool, but a special order. If you have the bucks, you may be able to get a special order. ... being famous and polite also helps.

Last night I caught wind that Wildwood had these in stock. On the way to work this morning I stopped by in person and bought one. 8AM and they opened the shop for me. Great customer service...and the bass? In the morning sun it pretty much sold itself. What a way to start the day.

I agree. I pulled the trigger yesterday and have this one coming in on Saturday. The guy I talked to said they only made 15 of them in this run.
