Re: Mojo or time to refinish?
The neck on my 21fretter has been oversprayed with clear coat. For me it's the perfect solution, preserving the original colour and wear, while I can play it without worries. Plus I love the feel of percect smooth finish. Excellent work by Larry Davis. It's this one: http://www.rickresource.com/register/vi ... p?id=10030

I own this bass now as of yesterday. The look and feel are amazing. Other than setting it up a little differently for my personal preferences, I plan on changing nothing.

Looks like the second time I missed this bass as I was mere hours off buying it from Vintage & Rare...

Where the frets ever changed out by the guy you purchased her from? Lovely instrument!ghettoshelf wrote:I own this bass now as of yesterday. The look and feel are amazing. Other than setting it up a little differently for my personal preferences, I plan on changing nothing.

Leave it as it is mate she's beautiful. If you find a set of the original tuners get them, but only for the originality, the ones on it probably work 10 times better anway
