Those particular basses were made for only playing in D minor.

Hey Paul! My copy arrived this week along with my return to the US. Stellar job! Really love it, particularly that acoustic bass!

Cheers

Good to hear. I had to make a sharp-stick email to the publisher to have them send out the comp copies to the contributors. Sorry for the delay!

I got mine last week Paul. Thanks again! PS:The trans yellow 4004 with the ebony fretboard that my wife photographed was not one of my creations. It was one of the RIC factory "one offs" sold on Ebay a few years back. I had it in to change out the ABM bridge for a Schaller, set it up properly, and rewire it. The action was much lower with the Schaller. The ABM wouldn't let it get low enough, making the bass not very playable.

Actually, an old friend of mine was visiting asking some questions about a 4001 he had just picked up, I let him leaf through my copy of the first edition, and he ordered a copy of the 2nd edition as well. :D
