Hey Paul! My copy arrived this week along with my return to the US. Stellar job! Really love it, particularly that acoustic bass!

Good to hear. I had to make a sharp-stick email to the publisher to have them send out the comp copies to the contributors. Sorry for the delay!

Re: 2nd Edition progress
I got mine last week Paul. Thanks again! PS:The trans yellow 4004 with the ebony fretboard that my wife photographed was not one of my creations. It was one of the RIC factory "one offs" sold on Ebay a few years back. I had it in to change out the ABM bridge for a Schaller, set it up properly, and rewire it. The action was much lower with the Schaller. The ABM wouldn't let it get low enough, making the bass not very playable.

Re: 2nd Edition progress
Actually, an old friend of mine was visiting asking some questions about a 4001 he had just picked up, I let him leaf through my copy of the first edition, and he ordered a copy of the 2nd edition as well.

Got mine from Amazon yesterday. Great job as usual Paul! Both copies now adorn my coffee table.
