old 4001 Grover tuner replacement? Who makes a substitute?

Post by Sir Ricardo »

.

Greetings - I've got a 1973 4001 that needs Grover tuners, the wavy kind.

Are there any 'new' or 'modern' replacement tuners that will fit? Without routing, etc?

thanks for your thoughts -

No, there are no replacements (that I know of) that are drop-in replacements. Those Grovers (Slimline) are quite unique in their footprint.
