Enough that there is an entire new chapter in the second edition! Too bad that this one is too late to be included. :(

That's pretty much the exact colour I was going to refin my 4000 in before I decide to sell it. Absolutely stellar. I wish the UK could get stuff like this, I'd love one of those.

I just saw their Ric pricing.
Hope they discount it, because noone should have to pay that high a price.
Dave's in Wisconsin sold me my FG for 1550 back in February.

Am I missing something? I can't find any on Willcutt's site. Have they all gone?

I called, and that's the price - no discount.

Still, I would cough up the cash if I could - it's cool as hell, and it's an instant collectable.

The ad for it pops right up on their home page when I go there.

They don't have any basses listed, as they have not yet been delivered.

There were still a few available to reserve as of yesterday....

I think most of the Noirs sold for around $2800 and I would assume these would fall around the same price.

Well my favourite colours are blue, purple and orange, so it definitely floats my boat. Reminds me of a Lamborghini Countach I once saw. Of course I doubt they'll be available to those of us over the pond anyway. We seldom get the good stuff. :(

Doesn't do a thing for me either. I had a refrigerator back in the late sixties rather like this color and it was cool then- but tastes change. But I'm glad it appeals to a great number of people and I'm happy to see Ben trying out a few new things.

I love it and sent in my deposit on one as well. Really love that you guys are offering these custom type configurations. I am up to 12 Rics basses now with this one, keep it up!

Ah the power of marketing.

(Not really singling you out, I see it - the RIC color - called "Ruby Red" about half the time, to be fair.
