i returned it back to the seller....(which by the way was a nightmare). it had a twisted neck, amongst other things......

after i got my refund (not including any of the shipping costs) i noticed he posted it in eBay? with same description. told him perhaps he should update his description of what i found, but he declined and said it all got fix (i've seen no pictures proving this)
Who's the seller, so we know to avoid him?

you could be right. my eyes might of played tricks on me and the two other people I brought it too might of been totally wrong about the trussrod being busted too.

here's some more pics though for your enjoyment!

he's on Talkbass and thread is still there. i was going to leave him negative feedback but it was a nightmare having it shipped back to him - even though it was the next state overy (MA to NY).....UPS had actually lost it for a couple days - which rose my holiday stress levels........ it was found and i had to reship it...he got it and refunded me as promised so I left him neutral feedback.

Anyone has expierience with this Kahler bridge? It looks like a solution for the volume drop of the B and G strings.

The Kahler bridge also looks like hell on a Rickenbacker bass. I've modded several 4003 tailpiece bridge assemblies to work on 4004's, but the pocket for the bridge must be carefully routed to avoid finish damage around it.

From what I see in the pics, the neck is not twisted, it's just the normal shape of the nut to hold different sized strings that you're being fooled by, I have the feeling someone else owns this Rick now?
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

It sure does look twisted to me. The peghead is dipping to the left (counter-clockwise) compared to the plane of the body.

If we're still talking about the blue 4004Cii/5, that's been passed around more than a joint over the last couple months. I know one of the owners who bought it and immediately returned it when they saw how bad its issues are. Even as rare as it is, it would cost more to restore than it would be worth, I'm told.
