Custom bass for preorder

Post by T28 »

Chicago Music Exchange has a new batch of custom basses for preorder.
Looks awesome but I would have preferred black metal trim and pg.

Just messin' with ya Stephen, although on a serious note this is likely why RIC isn't exactly in love with us collectors and players. Everybody wants something a little different, and so few are willing to pony up the dough.

I hear ya. I just have always been a fan of the black trim, especially on the amber tones.

With the cb the horns look too thin imho.

I really like all the vintage features that have been brought back, ( walnut wings, slimmer profile, full length inlays ). I just wish they'd go ahead and bring back the checker binding as a standard feature as well.

I appreciate the special runs too, Its almost like RIC is running a big beta test to see what people really want.

Very, very nice. I wish the TRC-to-headstock length ratio was more balanced, but a really nice looking bass otherwise.
