Has anyone seen this new item from well-regarded PU makers Nordstrand?

That looks really interesting and the price is reasonable.

Cool! I guess you could put one on the bridge bezel as well, like myself and others have done for other pickups that can mount in the neck position. But I wonder if they could make it RWRP and with a wider magnet spacing.

Why wouldn't they offer a bridge and a neck replacement?

"Also, the stock bridge sounds great already, so why mess with it? .....Says the guy who built the pickup.

Never really had any issues with the stock pickups myself. I'd be afraid it would change the tone.

Probably would. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Putting in a toaster instead of a high gain (or vice versa) changes the tone, but people do it. I have a 4001 with high gains, and it has a different sound than my new 4003W with high gains. The 4000 with Seymour Duncans sounds different from either, as does the 4001 with Bartolinis. The 4003 with Alembic electronics is way different, and so is the 4004Cii. They're all different, but they all sound good, and they all sound like Rics. I expect this would sound different, but also like a Ric.
