Need some help

Post by ilan »

I need to replace some oxidized screws on my 4003 Shadow bass, but here's the problem - there is no Rickenbacker dealer in Israel, and ordering through RIC's website is US only. I emailed Customer Service and they can't help. Chris Clayton is out of stock on pickguard screws.

Can someone here please order these from RIC and send to me in Tel Aviv, Israel - I'll pay immediately with paypal.

Here is what I need -

8 Pickguard screws (item #05202)
2 Neck pickup height adjustment / mounting screws (#05112)
4 Bridge pickup mounting plate screws (the small ones - I think they are similar to the tuner screws but I'm not sure)
2 Bridge pickup height adjustment screws (#05106)
4 Jack plate screws

Thanks!

pretty sure the two unnumbered ones in your list are both 05200, out of stock at the moment. Can anyone confirm I'm right, and the screws that mount the bridge pickup surround to the body, and the screws that go in the jackplate, are the same as the screws that hold the TRC on? I looked at my 1992 4003FL as a reference and the heads are the same. Looks same on my 2015 4003S as well.

All modern 4003 Rickenbacker bases use the 3 x 3/8 pan head screws, p/n 05200, for the truss rod cover, tuners, jack plate and bass treble pickup surround.

Since RIC and Chris Clayton are out stock on p/n 05200 screws, I found this and ordered one hundred #3 * 3/8 screws (for $4.20, free shipping), so if anyone here needs some of them, just let me know.

Those are zinc plated, right, not polished stainless steel or chrome plated?
